Uh oh

Lauren is so cute trying to say "Uh oh".  She drops something, but really just gets the "uh" part out.  Stephen taught her to say "duck" this weekend.  Ben, Truman and Grandpa Jerry ca,e for a visit this weekend.   Lauren warmed up to them pretty quickly.   It was a great weekend.

1 Year Appointment Today

We had Lauren's 1 year appointment today.  Poor baby got four shots.  I got a look in her mouth -every time I try, she normally clamps her jaws together a I can't see in there.  She has another tooth coming through on the bottom. She loves running from us now.  We got her a very cute car for her birthday and she loves riding around in it.

Almost 1 Already!

I cannot believe Lauren is almost one.  There is so much to write.  She has been so much fun.  In the hospital after she was born, Stephen went to get his mom and they could hear Lauren screaming from down the hall.  She was getting her first bath.   After bringing her home, she really was an easy baby. She loved her swing and would spend some nights sleeping in it and mommy and daddy would take turns sleeping on the couch.  She started sitting up around 5 months, sleeping through the night at 6 months, crawling around 7 months and walking around 10 or 11 months.

She loves pictures and wants us to walk her around the house holding her while she looks at all the pictures.   It's very cute.

Tomorrow is the day!

Today I ran around with Grandma Rose and did all kinds of errands. Went to visit a couple daycares, took lunch to your sister Avery, went and ate lunch with Rose and your dad, bought a new camera to take pictures, grocery store, post office and more. Last night, I could not sleep much (woke up at 3am) so I am hoping that exhaustion sets in and I am able to sleep some. I am so excited to see what you look like, to hold you and kiss you. It's been a long nine months waiting to meet you, but I know you will be more than worth the wait. Your dad has been wonderful during this pregnancy. Very protective over me and loving. I got sick a lot in the beginning and he never got mad when we would get out somewhere and need to leave almost immediately. Never irritated when I woke him up 50 times so I could go to the restroom or was complaining because I did not feel well. He will be a great daddy to you!
